Client Kitchen

The most used rooms in the design are the dining, kitchen and lounge/family rooms. So instead of keeping them separate I decided to link all three spaces to allow for the rhythm of the building to flow more evenly. The colour choices in the kitchen are bold and bright which tailors to the family’s young vibrant side. Bright fuchsia pink for the kitchen cabinets and with a large white square island bench. This allows for open plan living which was discussed in the original design brief. Wooden floors are throughout the 3 rooms which adds softness to the bold colours and stark whites. Natural materials such as the wooden bowl also lends a hand in the natural theme along with the potted plant. To link the kitchen with the lounge room I’ve opted for a lime green Smeg fridge. This will allow for balance in the open plan spaces and helps brightness the room even more. Stainless steel appliances and bar stools add an industrial feel which flows into the lounge.
